Please reach out to us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
You must be at least 16 years or older to be tattooed and must have a state issued photo ID. Anyone under 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. The parent/legal guardian will also need their photo ID. If last names are different, we require a birth certificate in addition to the ID’s. Legal guardians must also bring guardianship papers.
Getting a tattoo can be uncomfortable, but the level of pain varies depending on the individual and the location of the tattoo. We carry numb cream that can be purchased prior to your tattoo appt if you feel you will need extra help getting through the session.
Yes! All of our artists require a deposit to schedule. Deposit amount ranges from $60-$150 depending on the tattoo/session. Deposits are nonrefundable and non-transferable.
You are allowed one reschedule per deposit with a 48 hour notice. Failure to give proper notice will forfeit your deposit.
If you need to put your appointment on hold, we can do so for 30 days. However you will need to reschedule your appointment by the end of the 30 days in order for your deposit to roll over. We understand things can occur that may result in your appointment being on hold for longer than the allotted time. We will take these instances on as a case by case basis.
We understand unexpected things can happen. If you are going to be late, please contact your artist to make sure this is ok. We generally allow a 15 minute grace period as long as we are notified in advance. However, this is not always a guarantee. Showing up late without notifying your artist will forfeit your deposit. If you are a no call no show, deposit is automatically forfeited.
Tipping is always appreciated but not required. Keep in mind, tattooers purchase all of their own supplies and most have to pay a booth fee or get a percentage of what they charge. So tipping your artist helps!
There are no set prices for tattoos. Tattoo pricing is based on the design, placement and size. Each artist prices their own work.
The healing time of a tattoo varies depending on the individual and the location of the tattoo. Generally, tattoos take 2-3 weeks to heal but can take less/more time. Our artists will provide you with aftercare instructions to help with the healing process.
We will not tattoo you if you are sick. Getting a tattoo when your immune system isn’t 100% is never a good idea and can cause problems during the healing process. We also do not want to risk our staff or other clients getting sick.
Be well rested and drink lots of water. This is extremely important.
Avoid all alcohol the day before/of your appointment. Alcohol can cause excessive bleeding which can effect the tattoo process. We will also not tattoo you if you are intoxicated.
Wear comfortable clothing! Avoid wearing white or clothing you do not want ink to get on. This can happen!
Bring snacks and a drink especially if you are someone with low blood sugar.
Feel free to bring a book or headphones if this will help you through the process.
If you are sitting for a long session, feel free to bring a blanket. The body tends to get cold the longer the tattoo.
Eat a hardy meal before coming in. Never get tattooed on an empty stomach as this could potentially cause you to pass out.
It’s ok to be nervous! Your tattoo artist will help you through the process.
Remove wrap from tattoo 1-2 hours after the tattoo is done. You will then wash your tattoo for the first time with antibacterial soap and lukewarm/hot water. Use clean hands only. NO rags/cloths/sponges! Pat dry with a clean cloth or paper towel and let air dry about 10 minutes. Once that is done, you will need to moisturize your tattoo with white non-scented lotion (examples aveeno, curel, lubriderm, cetaphil, baby lotion). We recommend avoiding all ointments or petroleum based products as too much can be bad for the tattoo.
You will need to clean your tattoo 2-3 times a day and moisturize your tattoo 3-4 times a day.
Showering is good! But you will want to avoid soaking in a tub or swimming (no pools, fresh water, salt water or hot tubs).
If your tattoo is itchy, you may pat/tap it but do not scratch it while healing!
No shaving over a healing tattoo.
No tanning while tattoo is healing.
Wear loose soft clothing.
You will want to repeat these steps until your tattoo is completely healed. Average heal time is 2 weeks but can vary depending on person and location of tattoo.
Bruising and/or selling can occur and can last several days to a week. You may ice your tattoo or take an anti inflammatory such as ibuprofen.
If you have any questions during the healing process, please reach out to your artist. Do not ask a friend!
